One of Caity and JoJo's favorite stories to tell is how they met and came to be together. Those that know the happy couple understand that it was an unlikely meeting and an even more unlikely outcome. Clearly, there are two sides to every story, and since Caity usually lets Joe do most of the talking, here's his version....

It was a cold December night in 2010 when Caity and her gang of friends, and Joe and his knuckle head buddies, found their way into the Marquee Night Club at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. It was anything but cold once they made their way into the venue. This wasn't just any night in Vegas, this was New Years Eve and it was the grand opening of Vegas's hottest new nightclub.

Caity was pumped that her fake ID worked and she was ready to dance, and Joe, well Joe was there to do what any young 23 year old guy does while he's single and in Vegas. Needless to say, neither of them were looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right.

After ringing in the New Year with their respective group of friends, the headliner came on and the party meter turned up.... Joe, surrounded by a group of hopeful young ladies (as he typically was), caught a glimpse of the most beautiful brunette with some killer dance moves. Pushing all the girls aside, Joe made his way over towards Caity.

Caity looked up and locked eyes with Joe. Immediately she was captivated by his big blue eyes and exceptional white-boy rhythm. Joe knew this was his chance and he wasn't about to pass it up.

Joe and Caity shook their tail feathers all night long and eventually, it was time to leave. Joe being a confident and hopeful young man, tried his best to keep the fire burning. Caity being the respectful and classy young lady, gave him the "nice try, but it ain't happening" look. They settled on an exchange of phone numbers and a goodnight kiss.

Little did either of them know at the time that this was the start of a journey that would last a lifetime.

Joe persisted in his quest, and although they lived in separate states, he continued to fan the flame that started on that cold December night. Joe and Caity would make many trips to see one another over the coming years. Texts, daily phone calls, care packages, cross continental skype dates, countless adventures... All these efforts finally convinced young Caity that JoJo was serious. After she finished up her undergraduate degree at UCSB, she decided to take a chance on love and move to Phoenix to be with Joe.

Joe and Caity lived happily in their swanky Old Town condo. Continuing to keep the love affair up and the social life active. They danced, drank, ate, and celebrated life to the fullest during their time in Arizona. After almost two years of desert living, Caity, the SoCal native, missed the ocean and the lovely weather that come along with it.

Now it was time for JoJo to take a chance on Caity and move away from the city and the family he so loved. They packed up their bags, rented a U-Haul and moved out west.

It's been two and a half years since they relocated to the lovely beach town of Cardiff By The Sea. They've since been engaged, are buying their first home and are now committing themselves to one another in the sacred vow of marriage. The two of them would love nothing more than to have their friends and family join them on their special day and help support them as they continue on this fulfilling journey.
