The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held at The Burlington in Charles City, Virginia.
13221 John Tyler Memorial Hwy, Charles City, VA 23030
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Guests should plan to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting. The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive with enough time to find parking, seating and settle in before the ceremony starts.
What is the dress code?
Formal attire is required. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. While late April temperatures are typically in the high 60s, Virginia weather can be unpredictable. We recommend checking the forecast on the day of the event and bringing a jacket or other appropriate clothing as needed.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to space and planning considerations, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see you on our big day!
Are kids allowed?
We kindly request that our wedding day be an adults-only celebration. We want everyone to be able to truly relax and enjoy themselves (especially with lots of adult beverages). We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Is there parking?
Yes, there is plenty of parking on the grounds for all the guests.
If I’m traveling to VA when should I arrive/depart?
Should your schedule permit, we recommend arriving in Virginia the Thursday before the wedding and departing the Sunday following. These days offer optimal travel options for both flying and driving, and we would cherish the extra time to spend with you!
