Wedding Party

Allie Halsor
Allie Halsor - Maid of Honor
Hello my name is Allie! Marilyn and I met at a Christian women’s group in college a couple years back and went to the same church together at the time. Early on we became close and our friendship has just continued to grow as the years pass. We have been there for one another through numerous tough times. It has been nothing but a blessing having her in my life; God is so good keeping us together through many life changes on both ends. And I am so honored to be a part of her big day. Caleb is everything I expected/prayed for and more for her. I always knew God had someone amazing for her in the right timing.
Sabrina Jung
Sabrina Jung - Bridesmaid
Hello, my name is Sabrina! I‘m Marilyn’s cousin from Germany; we grew up together since I lived across the street from her. I am a designer for print and digital media and in my free time I like meeting up with my friends as well as dancing „Garde“ at the carnival. Looking forward to meeting everyone and visiting Albuquerque for the first time!
Moumita Ghosh
Moumita Ghosh - Bridesmaid
I am Moumita Ghosh from Bangladesh. I met Marilyn in 2019 during our Master’s program, and our friendship began amidst late-night assignments and shared challenges. Through countless hours of studying, laughter, and encouragement, we built a bond that went far beyond the classroom. Some friendships happen by chance, but ours was built on trust, support, and the kind of companionship that lasts a lifetime.
Samin Yahyazadehjasour
Samin Yahyazadehjasour - Bridesmaid
This is Samin. I'm a Turk, born and raised in Iran. I met Marilyn during grad school at UNM. One day, I visited the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) at UNM to raise a concern about the lockers in the graduate lounge, and there she was—listening patiently to my complaint. By the end of the conversation, I found myself captivated by her beauty and charm. And that was the start of a friendship full of shenanigans, adventures, and way too much laughter.

Daniel Gittlein
Daniel Gittlein - Groomsman
My name is Daniel Gittlein and I work, go to church, and am involved with different ministries at Tri City Baptist Church in Westminster Colorado. I am currently working on a Master of Ministry degree from IBCS in Arizona because God has called me to be a pastor. I met Caleb in the college Career group at Tri City. I really got to know Caleb when we went on a hike that Pastor Senn who is the pastor over our group organized. The hike location would be part of the Colorado trail and Pastor Senn said that the mileage was 4-5 miles and was a fairly easy hike. This turned out not to be the case for five of us. I cannot go into all the details, or it would be pages, but I will give a few points. The trail was actually 7-8 miles and in the group of five that Caleb and I were a part of had a person that had not been hiking in a long time, and that person decided to wear brand new hiking boots that had not been broken in. At about halfway through the trail this person began to have issues because the boots did not fit right and were causing pain. The person decided they could walk the trail with nothing but socks and the inserts from the boots tucked in the socks because they just could not wear the boots. We decided as a group to go forward and not back because we thought we were halfway there, but we were not because we had been given the wrong distance information. Due to the fact that the distance was wrong, the person with the shoe issue had to walk slower and we had already been going slow . The hike started in the morning around 9am and ended in the dark around 7pm. It was a long hike. During that hike I got to know Caleb much better, and I would say that is what started the friendship. That group really bonded over our ordeal and joked about it many times. I am very grateful for that crazy hike because I gained Caleb as a friend.
Jacob Rodriguez
Jacob Rodriguez - Groomsman
I'm Jacob Rodriguez, proud cousin of the groom. I don't know if I was more jealous of Caleb's height or his toy army collection growing up, but I always wanted to be like Caleb. While the Lord had different plans of keeping me at 5'10" , I am thankful for the time we had growing up in Colorado together. Today, I live in Greenville, SC with my wife, Melissa, and my dog, Bronco.
