Geoffrey attends a theater production in Brooklyn, in which Caleb is performing. Mesmerized by Caleb's singing and on-stage backflips, he finds a way to sneak into the after-show cast party so that they can meet. They speak briefly where Geoffrey is struck by Caleb's ebullient smile and Caleb is drawn to Geoffrey's charming accent, but no numbers are exchanged.

August 18, 2020

Two years later, Geoffrey spots Caleb on a dating app, messages him, and recognizing each other they both make plans to meet for a picnic in Prospect Park.

August 2020 - March 2021

Caleb and Geoffrey spend the next few months dating until Geoffrey receives a new job offer which relocates him to San Diego.

September, 2021

After 6-months of long-distance, Caleb moves to San Diego to join Geoffrey, where their relationship blossoms.

May 8, 2023

Geoffrey proposes to Caleb while on vacation in Kauai. Falling in love with the island, they both decide they want to return to get married there...
