For those wanting to stay longer in Kauai, we recommend arriving on Sat Oct 5 to have a few extra days to experience other parts of the island, and have provided some other accommodation options on the East Side below.

Situated in the town of Kapaa on the East Side of Kauai, the Plantation Hale Suites provides a convenient location to explore the North and South of the island. These 1-bedroom condos with full kitchen, living room, and pull out sofa bed, are less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and several bars/restaurants.

For those looking for more upscale accommodations, the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort is an oceanfront hotel with an array of amenities, including a spa and several dining options.

Also located in Kapaa on the East Side of the island, it is walking distance to the Plantation Hale Suites.

For a more affordable option, the boutique, oceanfront ISO hotel is also located in Kapaa, and walking distance from Plantation Hale and The Sheraton. Rooms and facilities are fairly basic, but the location is phenomenal - right by the ocean.

This is one of the only options with two bedrooms in the area, and where Geoff and Caleb will be staying 10/2-10/8. We booked our apartment there through VRBO.
