The Liriodendron is a historic home and estate of Dr. Howard Kelly and his wife Laetitia. Dr. Kelly was a respected surgeon and one of the four founding physicians of the Johns Hopkins Medical College.

Liriodendron (leer-ee-o-dendron) is the botanical name for the tulip poplar, many of which can be found around the grounds of this historic property in Bel Air, Maryland.

Calla graduated from Johns Hopkins with her MBA in May of 2023, while Hercule is currently attending Johns Hopkins for his MBA. Using this mansion as our wedding venue is a true full circle moment!
