Head over to Harrison Smith Park in Upper Sandusky between 9 a.m. and noon to find a little bit of everything at the Wyandot Farmers Market. Baked goods, fresh produce, crafted items, and more! We love grabbing a coffee and taking a look around. Some places offer card readers, but it's good to go in prepared with cash!

We love this park, especially as the fall colors arrive. It is located along the Sandusky River close to the old stepping stones used in earlier days to cross the river. Cross the Sandusky River via the Veterans Bridge, view the stepping stones to the south. With its mile of trail this is a beautiful place for a walk and Jake and Callan love to go here for a walk and a talk after a long day at work. In addition to running in to lots of virtual Pokemon, you'll often see many deer (real ones!).

Upper Sandusky Reservoir 1 is located in central Wyandot County on the southeastern edge of the city of Upper Sandusky. The main parking area and the boat ramp can be reached by taking Reservoir Road off of East Wyandot Avenue. It also connects to Reservoir 2. This area offers lots of fresh air, walking paths, fishing, wildlife viewing, Pokemon hunting, and more. It's where we took many of our engagement photos. Check it out and see if you can spot where we were!

Need something to do the night before the wedding? Why not get a little exercises while you tour Upper Sandusky's finest Halloween displays and enjoy some spirits at our local bars? Make sure you book ahead and plan for a sober ride home!

The Star Theatre offers local plays and musicals as well as movies in the off seasons. Check out their page for more information as we get closer to the wedding to determine what times they are open. We've enjoyed a few shows and a few movies here and it's always a good time. Bring some cash for concessions if you're so inclined!

We went here on a date once and it offered a unique Putt Putt experience and delicious Tofts Ice Cream. What more could you ask for?

Upper Sandusky's locally roasted and crafted coffee shop. You can drive through or hang out. In addition to coffee and coffee alternative drinks, they offer huge muffins and bagels.

Jake's favorite: hot Buckeye Mocha with Oat Milk.

Callan's favorite: iced chai latte, add brown sugar cinnamon with oat milk or skim milk!

Everything here is good! Jake's favorite is the Big Man Breakfast and black coffee. Callan usually gets Brad's Breakfast Bowl and an OJ. Plus they have crepes!

Delicious donuts if you're a morning person! We usually find ourselves arriving at 11 when the pickings are slim. They open at 5 a.m. if you want the full offerings. They also carry Hartzler Dairy products which are typically worth the tummy ache that follows!

This is our favorite place for a date night dinner. They have burgers and salads in addition to pizza shop favorites, and more traditional Italian offerings and some more gourmet options. We never save room for dessert, but they have those too.

This Gastropub offers a big city vibe in our very not big city. It's in the $$ field, but always has unique and local offerings for dinner and great brunches too. Plus they have fun artisan cocktails! They also often have events throughout the week, so check out their Facebook page as we get closer to the wedding if this is a place you want to check out.

We haven't yet tried this restaurant, but its owned by the same family that owns our venue Brickyard on Main! If you like Italian but don't want to make the highly recommended drive into Upper Sandusky for Don Tomasso's, this may be the place for you.

Callan will have something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue for the wedding. You can find something new at Creekside too! They have lots of cute clothes that are size inclusive for all ages. Plus fun jewelry, cups, and candles.

Open Fridays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Woods' Antiques offers a wide variety of furniture and décor. Be sure to plan for plenty of time in the shop as the owner Janice loves to talk to you about what she has available. She has furnished a good deal of our home as a result and usually has reasonable prices!

If you need a place to get pretty, this is where we like to go! Jake's toes have never looked better. They offer it all and are open to walk-ins, though we recommend booking. Shelby is Callan's favorite for hair (though she doesn't offer formal hair services!)

Jake likes this place for fresh beard trims and his classic cut and style, but they offer salon options for women as well!
