Cally and Patrick met in the fall of 2013 in Denver, Colorado, loading ice packs onto pallets at the warehouse of Mile High Organics. Quickly becoming friends, they connected over their love of bruised produce, had similar tastes in music, and both enjoyed riding their bicycles to work. Pat would always bring delicious homemade dishes and fun friends to Cally's parties, and their friendship persisted even after Cally moved back to California.

In March of 2020 Cally turned to Patrick, joining forces on a bicycle camping trip in Death Valley. Narrowly avoiding COVID and having a great adventure, Cally was hooked. Another bike adventure was planned for the following year, this time to the Grand Canyon State- Flagstaff, Arizona. Although the 120 mile loop was cut short by a snowstorm, the two still managed to have a proper ramble, and romance blossomed in the high desert.

With giddy hearts, their connection continued and remained strong across state lines, where Patrick fell in love with both Cally and Goldie. Their long distance fling grew into a fruitful and deep bond that resulted in Patrick relocating to the foggy shores of San Francisco later that year.

Barely two years later, Pat and Cally traveled to the Scandinavian wonderland of Norway, where Patrick proposed at the top of a mystical mountain, astride a glacier. Cally said yes, and here we are today - ready to be lifetime partners!
