The wedding venue is situated between San Francisco and our home in Novato. If you want to stay near the venue, we have listed some hotel options near the venue on our website. There are also some Airbnbs in Mill Valley that are near the venue.
If you want more of a city experience, then the city has a wealth of options just a 15 minute drive away. You will need a rental car or plan on taking the bus/ferry to get to the venue and our house.
There are also plenty of hotel options closer to our house in Novato (north of San Francisco and Mill Valley). It will be warmer and more mellow up in that area, and easier to attend our post wedding lunch hang.
Will it be hot or cold? What should I pack?
Mark Twain was not wrong when he said "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco". So, what should you bring? LAYERS!
In Mill Valley, you can expect fog in the morning and the evening, cooling things down into the 50s. During the day it will probably get warm and sunny. The city will very likely be cool, foggy and windy, especially on the western side. Novato is the warmest, with temperatures probably reaching 70s and 80s during the day, it will still cool down at night since we are near the mighty Pacific Ocean. Feel free to reach out to Patrick or Cally for packing questions.
Will there be an after party?
YES! After the wedding we will head over to the 2am Club, about a mile away from the Outdoor Art Club. Walk, take an uber, or drive there.
Will there be parking at the wedding venue?
Although there is no dedicated parking lot for the venue, there are public lots in the town of Mill Valley, as well as ample street parking.
