We went to the same high school but our paths never crossed. Calvin was class of 2015 and dedicated to band, while Alyssa was class of 2016 and deep into swim, water polo, and belly dancing.

My roommate at the time (and now bridesmaid) Allie invited Calvin to our Halloween party in 2017. I was dressed as a frat boy and he was dressed as pikachu. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of Calvin in his costume that night, but he wore it a few Halloweens' later. From the pic of me that night its pretty obvious why he was enamored!

For our first date out (not including movie nights in and 711 runs), Calvin and I went to the lighting ceremony in Leavenworth! Calvin stabilized me while I slipped around in my crocs on the snow.

Calvin and Alyssa Graduated from Central Washington University around the same time. Calvin got a BA in Music and Alyssa got a BS in clinical physiology. We graduated during covid, and did not attend an in person ceremony!

After our time at CWU we got an apartment together in Auburn WA! We loved our quirky little apartment. Can you believe that when we moved in there were no doors except the front door!?

We are honored to be the proud parents of our cat Suichi (Sue-E-Ch-E) Meowamino Stipe. Lovingly named after one of our favorite characters from the anime Yu Yu Hakusho! We first got him when we lived in Auburn. He is now 3.5 years old and loves to play, meow, eat treats, and attack at random!

Calvin proposed to me in Leavenworth on December 19th, 2023! A dream come true, the man of my dreams and the most gorgeous ring I could have asked for! After 6 years together it was the easiest YES of my life!
