Richmond Marriott Short Pump

10-15 drive to the reception venue and 15 minutes to UofR's campus. This area of Short Pump is close to the Short Pump mall. It is a happy medium in terms of location between events, but will be further from the center of Richmond and the Fan area.
Other options include AirB&B and VRBO.
We recommend searching in the Fan, Tuckahoe, and Lakeside neighborhoods. The Fan is full of townhouses and great food. It is also near Scotts Addition (if you like breweries) and Cary Street (local shops and restaurants). Tuckahoe is closer to UofR and closely resembles typical houses and neighborhoods. Lakeside is similar and close to Byran park.
If I'm flying what airport should I choose?
Fly into the RIC airport. It is a small airport, and it is easy to grab an Uber, cab, or rental car after exiting.
If I'm driving will there be places to park? What is Richmond parking like?
Both the ceremony and reception sites will have easy access parking! In general, the fan and Lakeside area have street/parallel parking. Keep a lookout for parking signs to confirm the spot is available. Street parking tends to be free, and there are usually parking lots nearby.
