Parking is available on Main Street, Evangeline Boulevard, and the parking lot of St. Martin De Tours Catholic Church.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 6pm. Please arrive by 5:45pm at the latest. St. Martin de Tours is very rich with history, as it is the Mother of Cajun Churches. You may want to arrive a little early to explore the church grounds a bit!

Formal attire. Guests are encouraged to wear floor-length to mid-length dresses, jumpsuits, and suits/ties. Please refrain from wearing jeans, caps, and cowboy hats.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Please avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride (i.e. white, ivory, cream, etc.)

What is the weather like during November in Louisiana?

The weather is always flippant in Louisiana. The historical averages for this time of year range from a high of 75 to a low of 53. You may want to keep a light jacket in the car, just to be safe!

Etc.

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Can we bring our kids?

James and I both work with children - of course they are welcome! Nothing makes us happier than seeing kids having fun on the dance floor. However, if you prefer, parents are welcome to set our wedding aside as a date night!

What type of food will be served?

While Cajun cuisine will be the highlight of our menu for the evening, we will also feature more traditional options as well. We will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style meal complete with various meats, cajun dishes, salad, and food stations.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Definitely! Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies when filling out your RSVP information.

As mentioned above, the wedding ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm and guests are strongly encouraged to arrive by 5:45pm. The ceremony will last about 30-45 minutes and will be directly followed by cocktail hour and our reception at Maison de Tours across the street. The festivities will come to a close at 10:45pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" in accordance with the rules of St. Maison de Tours Church. Guests are welcome to take as many photos as they'd like at our reception!
