Important General Information

Do Not Forget These Items

Your Passport/Other ID

You have to bring your passport/ID with you to get on the boat in NYC and when we get back on after activities in Bermuda, make sure you don't forget it!

If you do not have a passport they do allow Original Birth Certificates and Drivers License for identification purposes. Minors are permitted to just use their Original Birth Certificate.

Cash

While everything is included on the boat once you step on, we recommend bringing some small bills, or big bills if you want, to tip the workers. You will see how hard they work to make you feel like royalty. Please take care of them weather it be with singles or whatever amount you see fit. You will see how much you appreciate their hard work once you get there.

Also bring cash for anything you want to buy at the port or make sure your credit card is able to be used internationally, we will be considered out of the USA when we get to Bermuda.

Cell Phones

Please remember as we mentioned above, if you are coming to Bermuda your cell phone will be considered "roaming" in a different country and international charges will apply unless you keep your phone on airplane mode. You can still use WiFi while on airplane mode which means you can use the internet while on the boat and text on apps like WhatsApp. If you want to keep your cell service active make sure to call your carrier before we go on vacation and pay the upgraded charges for the international plan while we are sailing.

What we Bought for Our last 7 Day Cruise

Things that we found super helpful are listed below:

Luggage Tags

Make sure your tags stay safely secured to your luggage so you do not have to stress about it getting lost at drop off on Day 1

Motion Sickness Bracelets

Cammie found these super helpful for when the boat was moving, it seemed to keep any sea sickness at bay

Aloe

If you get burned this is a savior, they do have a store on the boat but save your money and just bring it with you to be safe, we went through nearly an entire bottle on our last trip

Sunscreen

Please please keep yourself covered, I don't care which one you buy, we used the one linked but please just try to keep the sun burns away, we went through two bottles on our trip

Reusable Water Bottles

We would fill our water bottles every night with ice and water to keep by our bedside. You can fill the bottles at any bar or in the buffet refreshment station.

Air Freshener

The bathrooms in the cabins have great ventilation.. but a little help never hurts. This stuff is just a great thing to bring 😂

Luggage Options

We were not really very limited when traveling on the boat. They allow you to bring a bag that is 50 lbs and a carry on that can go through a TSA style x-ray machine. They seemed pretty lax when it came to bag weight. We brought our largest suit cases with us, they should fit under your bed in the room once you unpack to allow you more room to move around when in your cabin.

We brought backpacks on the boat with us for Day 1, with the below items, just so we could immediately get to enjoying the trip! Once you arrive on the boat your large luggage is taken from you and brought to your designated hallway where your room is located. You will not have access to it until after all rooms open after we set sail.

Items in our Backpacks:

Swim Suit

Sunscreen

Flip Flops
