We first matched March 16, 2021, then had our first Facetime date April 26th . We talked throughout the summer and finally got to meet and spent a long weekend together, celebrating our first Halloween. At the end of the trip on November 1st, we officially became beans.


A little while later, Taylor returned to the land of cheese, to meet the Swans, watch Camryn graduate from UWGB and experience Wisconsin in early winter.



After that, began many firsts… our first trip and wedding together, to be a part of Erica’s big day. Our first time crashing the annual Swans flock to Florida trip. Camryn’s first trip to the west, first time meeting Linda and Courtney and first national park. And eventually our first year together, was already in the books. From there, the adventures together only continued!

Somewhere in between all the long distance dates and short trips together, we decided it was time to close the gap… Cam made the big move to California and we added a tiny, old man to the family. We had a couple of weeks to somewhat settle and then we were off for another fire season, this time actually together. 


After fire season, we went on a family trip to Hawaii. Taylor had decided, what better place to ask her caffeine addicted bean, to spend the rest of time together, than at a coffee farm in paradise. She enlisted the help of her mom and sister to bring her idea to life and well I think you know the rest…. 




Since then, we have been thoroughly enjoying our time as fiancées, with plenty more places seen and stories to tell. Cam even proposed back to Taylor in May 2024! We endured yet another fire season apart and have enjoyed resettling in, while we prepare for our next big adventure.
