Indoor & Outdoor Wedding Venue

Malibou Lake is a unique oasis in the Santa Monica Mountains, surrounded by over 5,000 acres of protected wilderness with a private lakeside community residing within it. The Lodge offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. The ceremony will take place on the great lawn, with dining and dancing to follow inside the Lodge.

Our goal is to keep our very special weekend as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. We politely ask that you do not bring anyone that was not addressed on your RSVP online response through The Knot. Thank you kindly for respecting our wishes.

Uber / Lyft

Ubers and Lyfts are a dime a dozen in Los Angeles! You can request an Uber at your door within 5 - 10 minutes when requested. Please make sure to have either app downloaded on your phone with an updated credit card on file. Ubers and Lyfts will be your best friend navigating through LA.

*A helpful tip we can recommend our guests for transporation is to utilize the Uber Reserve option with Uber. Your ride will be waiting for your arrival to avoid any stresses or confusion and will give a grace period of 15 minutes of wait time included.

Reserve a ride is perfect for travel. Reservations are available to and from major airports. The flight-tracking technology helps ensure that you'll have a ride ready when you land at your destination, even if your flight is delayed. *

Travel

If you are traveling from out of state, please see our recommended airports to arrive at:

1.) LAX - Los Angeles International Airport

The chaos of the airport is worth the lower prices of flights and more flight options. LAX also comes along with easy accessibility with ground transportation to your destination.

LAX to The Lodge is estimately 50 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

2.) Hollywood Burbank Airport (Bob Hope Airport)

The easiest airport to arrive and exit, but with fewer flight routes and more expensive prices. You can quickly contact an Uber through the app to get to your destination.

Burbank Airport to the Lodge is 40-45 minutes depending on traffic.

Parking

We highly encourage our guests to Uber to our wedding venue. The address to the wedding venue is:

If you are driving to our wedding, please drink responsibily and have a designated driver available! A parking attendant will be present to assist our guests in self-parking.

Handicap Accessibility

Our venue is an accessible facility. Access to the Great Lawn is via the path on the east side of the Front Porch, and access to the Ballroom is via the west end of the Front Porch, directly next to the handicap parking space. We also have a handicap accessible bathroom in the Ballroom.
