Kevin and Cara met at the Gooding Pro Rodeo, in Gooding, Idaho on August 20, 2021 two weeks after Cara started working to deliver parts for Jerome Peterbilt, where Kevin had been working for 4 years previously. Kevin recognized Cara on the dance floor immediately. Kevin's great friend Josh Holt was with Kevin that evening and they talked about how Kevin wanted to talk to this gal, so Josh encouraged him to go talk her. Kevin worked up the courage and after a short conversation, they danced and the end of the evening Kevin gave Cara his phone number. She waited and texted him the next day.They talked for a week or so and went on our 1st "unofficial date" out to Lilly Grade on the SXS on September 11, 2021. Things were going well, and within a month on the weekend of October 10, 2021, they took the camper, that Kevin bought from his dad, and went on an adventure to Stanley, Idaho and they spent the night in Cara's families annual camp spot for the Idaho State Bowhunters Jamboree when she was growing up.After discovering they were each others other half, Kevin asked Cara to be his Lady on September 29th, 2022.Aside from the SXS ride to Lilly Grade or Shawn and Candace Hite’s wedding on October 1st, 2022, what these two call their "first date" led them to the Yankee Fork- Gold Dredge where low and behold they found themselves engaged on September 1st, 2025!The rest is history, In 2023 Cara moved in with Kevin and the pups. Then, Halloween of 2024, after a long hot and strenuous summer building a horse shelter and replacing barbed wire fence around the whole property, they finally moved Cara's horses "Rein" and "Zipp" over to the house in Buhl.To say the least, taking and giving second chances is not always a bad idea with the right person!September 1, 2025 in the control room of the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge in Stanley/Custer Idaho, on the last tour of the 2025 season, Kevin asked Cara to marry him and without hesitation she said, “ OH MY GOD YES!” and nearly tackled him off of his one knee.At the end of the tour as they had walked around the gift shop, exhilarated by what just happened, Cara told the three woman (Michelle, Lisa and Darla and their significant others Robert, Rick and Dave) who were all volunteers that were getting ready to close the dredge for the season. Once the proposal had been told, they were astatic to hear the great news. The ladies demanded to go upstairs and reenact the proposal to get pictures and document the life changing moment. It was a great experience all around.Before the Williamson's to be left Robert, who the couple had talked to on their tour, gifted Cara and Kevin a lifetime membership to the Dredge. FREE tours for life baby!!As Cara and Kevin walked out of the dredge, Cara heard one of the gals state, "What a great day, a great end to the 2025 tour season and great beginnings for a beautiful couple!”Cara and Kevin's relationship and bond are second to none! No pets are allowed on facility grounds without a signed waiver; cars are not allowed in cabin areas; vehicles may drive to the front door (not double doors) and may drive to the rear of the lodge to deliver something or pick up supplies only. No driving and/or parking is permitted near any cabin. Park all motor vehicles in the parking lot below the restrooms. Recreational vehicles must adhere to this also.

If you are bringing a dog, please let Cara and Kevin know so you can get a copy of this waiver to fill out and sign. :) THANK YOU!!

ADDENDUM TO LEASE CONTRACT11/18/2025This is an Addendum to the Lease Agreement dated 11/18/2025. This document modifies the LeaseAgreement as described below. These additions shall be made valid as if they are included in the originalstated contract.You will be permitted to have your dog(s) at the event and agree to hold Central Idaho 4-HCamp harmless from all liability arising from any injury, damage, loss, or expense caused bysaid dog(s). If there are damages as a result of said dog(s), you will be charged a minimum of$600.00 for repairs. You must also clean up after your dog(s).The caretaker has final say of what goes on at camp during your stay, he has the authority to shut down thecamp if the contract is not adhered to or unsuitable activities are taking place. We want you to enjoy yourtime at our camp, but we also need to have it a safe environment for everyone involved.All other terms and conditions are as stated in the original Lease Agreement. All rules of the Central Idaho 4-H Camp, Inc. must be carefully observed.Special Attention needs to be paid to the following: a. Build fires in designated area only and completely extinguish any campfire before leaving area and retiring. Do not store wood in the lodge except in the wood box. Fireworks are prohibited. The camp will follow all fire restrictions advised by the US Forest Service. b. Do not use lighters or candles except in lodge for special ceremonies when supervision ispresent. c. Use of Nails is prohibited inside or outside of lodge or cabins. d. Do not hang clothing from electrical conduits in cabins. e. Use of electrical heaters is prohibited in cabins. f. Glass beer bottles, glass cups, plates or bowls are not allowed. g. Wine and Champagne bottles are allowed. h. The kitchen must be cleaned by either the caterer or lessee for the cleaning deposit to be returned to the lessee. This includes all dishes washed and put away as found, ovens, walk-in, and freezers cleaned and emptied. Floor swept and mopped. Make sure caterers don't remove kitchen property of Central Idaho 4-H Camp. All kitchen supplies brought by lessee or cater must be packed out. i. Use ONLY designated toilet facilities. j. SHOWER USE - Remember others need to use showers too. Make the showers short and usea minimum amount of hot water. k. Keep your event clean and neat, including restrooms. Put all trash in garbage cans. I. Cutting or carving of trees is prohibited. m. Maintain facility in primitive, natural state as closely as possible. Observe wildlife from a distance and do not disturb habitat. Walk on designated pathways only. n. Motorized vehicles must travel on designated driving paths ONLY. Wilderness areas(including meadows) are off-limits to ALL motorized vehicles.

Ground Rules

CENTRAL IDAHO 4-H CAMPSAFETY PLANIn the event of an emergency, follow the instructions listed. These have been prepared to assist you in an emergency situation. These must be signed and dated prior to your occupancy of the facility showing that you understand and will abide by the Camp's Safety Plan. They must also be submitted to the 4-H Camp Caretaker within one (1) hour of arriving for the event. Any questions you have may be addressed by President, Don Van Kleeck at (208) 731-8526.INDIVIDUAL IS LOST 1. At the opening of the event, the coordinator/director must address the procedure for lost individuals. 2. First, notify event coordinator/director. Give specific information as to last whereabouts of individual, attire, descriptionof individual, etc. 3. Immediately get to the phone in the Lodge and call 911. The dispatcher will notify local Search and Rescue teams and. any other rescue personnel necessary for your emergency. Remain calm and have necessary information ready for them. 4. Notify the camp caretaker as soon as you have contacted 911/Emergency Services.Do not send out a rescue effort without first consulting with local Search and Rescue personnel. 5. Contact the Central Idaho 4-H Camp Board members listed at the bottom of the page. INDIVIDUAL REQUIRES MEDICAL ASSISTANCE 1. At the opening of the event, the coordinator/director/medic must address the procedure for injured individuals. 2. First, notify event coordinator/director/medic. Give specific information to injury/accident. 3. Immediately get to the phone in the Lodge and call 911. The dispatcher will notify local Search and Rescue teams and any other rescue personnel necessary for your emergency. Remain calm and have necessary information ready for them. 4. Emergency dispatcher will give you pertinent information to help you along with your emergency. Listen carefully to theiradvice and have someone on hand to help with instructions. 5. Notify the camp caretaker as soon as you have contacted 911/Emergency Services. 6. Contact the Central Idaho 4-H Camp Board members listed at the bottom of the page. FIRE IN THE LODGE 1. At the opening of the event, the coordinator/director must address fire procedures. Identify a signal or way of lettingindividuals know of a fire, which will be recognized as a fire signal. 2. Follow the posted signs and posted exits in the lodge. 3. Have all attendees meet at the parking lot in the event of a fire alarm. 4. Immediately get to the phone in the Lodge and call 911. The dispatcher will notify local Search and Rescue teams and any other rescue personnel necessary for your emergency. Remain calm and have necessary information ready for them. 5. Notify the camp caretaker as soon as you have contacted 911/Emergency Services. 6. Take roll of all attendees and staff. Make sure everyone is accounted for.Do not send anyone back into the area of fire.Contact the Central Idaho 4-H Camp Board members listed at the bottom of the page. EMERGENCY EVACUATION 1. At the opening of the event, the coordinator/director must address emergency evacuation procedures. Identify a signal or way of letting individuals know of an evacuation, which will be recognized as an evacuation signal.Have all attendees meet at the parking lot in the event of an evacuation. 2. Immediately get to the phone in the Lodge and call 911. The dispatcher will notify local Search and Rescue teams and any other rescue personnel necessary for your emergency. Remain calm and have necessary information ready for them. Notify the camp caretaker as soon as you have contacted 911/Emergency Services.Take roll of all attendees and staff. Make sure everyone is accounted for before departing camp.Do not send anyone back into the area of danger. 3. The director for each event must send an evacuation plan to the camp board prior to their event. The plan must address how youth will be removed from the facility and procedures for taking them home, in the event of a forest fire or other emergency.
