Thursday, September 24th - Arrival!

Arrive in the beautifully scenic mountain town of Blue Ridge, Georgia.

We recommend taking the evening to settle in, explore the town, and enjoy a quiet night before the festivities begin. Note: Restaurants/bars close early here in the Blue Ridge Mountains...it's a Southern thing. If you're planning a later arrival, let us know and we can provide options for dinner.

Friday, September 25th - Wedding Day!

Our celebration will take place at Big Creek Bend, a 3000 sf modern cabin, sitting above Big Creek - a beautiful trout fed noisy creek, that 'bends' as it enters the 10 acre property. Big Creek Bend was built on raw land by my dad and stepmama over a period of 4 years (they have lots of stories to tell).

Transportation will be provided to and from the Hampton Inn Blue Ridge. Actual timing for pickup will be shared once details are finalized, however, we are planning for the ceremony to take place around 4pm. The trip to Big Creek Bend takes less then 30 minutes.

There will be a happy hour with appetizers prior to the ceremony. A catered dinner of authentic southern BBQ will be served after the ceremony.

Saturday, September 26th - Vineyard Tour!

Plans are in the works for a group vineyard tour! Lasting approximately 5 hours, and visiting 3 local vineyards via chartered small buses. Cost is $75 per person and will provide, a laid-back way to enjoy each others company.

North Georgia is not just famous for its apple orchards and Cider Houses, but also for it's vineyards. The foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains are ideal for vineyards due to their high-altitude, well-drained soil, and temperate mountain climate, similar to southern European regions.

Note: if you are interested in taking this tour, please let us know asap. Late summer can be a busy time and we will need to book transportation well ahead:)
