This is a tried and true love! We've been through medical issues (Carey's long and painful kidney stone ordeal), a hurricane with no electricity for 3 days, three house rehabs, many trips including Germany, Michigan, North Carolina, Savanah GA and now the COVID pandemic. All without killing each other! Just kidding! We get along great and all of these obstacles have made us closer.

On Sept 24, 2017, while in a vacation with friends, Carey asked Sandra to get married in Germany. They were staying overnight at the Castle Stromburg in Oberwesel. If you haven't heard it already, it's a much longer and funny story so be sure to ask the next time you see us!

On Sept 23, 2016, after meeting on Match.com, we had our first date at Stein and Vine in Brandon, Florida. When I arrived, Carey introduced me to another couple and I thought he brought friends on our date! Turns out he had just met them while waiting for me to arrive.
