Q + A

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best semi-formal attire. Please avoid shades of white. The ceremony and reception will be held inside.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Are kids welcome?

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself. If your invitation does specify bringing your children, please watch them closely.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by September 10, 2024. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What do I do if I can't make it?

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Where do I park?

For the ceremony, you will be parking on UTC's campus or nearby lots. Lot 26 and 21 will be open. Both lots are accessible from McCallie Avenue. Look for wedding signs and balloons. There is also street parking that is close to the chapel. For the reception, there is free onsite parking.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many photos as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
