Zach and Carisha met in 2016. Their first date was in October of 2017, and Carisha did not apparently know it was a date. They went and toured the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, downtown Chattanooga, and had lunch at Taco Mac. That was just the beginning of forever.

They moved to Chattanooga, TN together in 2018 and began their life together. They played Pokemon Go, watched Star Wars, and ate so much Lupi's pizza.

In 2020, Carisha and Zach rescued a Labrador Retriever mix that they named Scout Finch. He came into their lives at just the perfect time and was the first addition to their family. Scout Finch loves to play with his toys, run at the park, and do tricks for treats! He also loves his best friends Cocoa and Lucy!

After six years together and intricately planning it, Zach proposed on April 23, 2023. He proposed in a park at downtown Chattanooga on a pier overlooking the Tennessee River. It was perfect. Carisha was speechless. Their love story continues as they begin to plan forever together.
