In the Cultural District in Fort Worth. Also next to the Kimbell Art Museum and the Amon G Carter Museum of Art. Take your pick!

Right smack dab in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. It is a great spot to grab a casual bite or a beer and enjoy if the weather is nice. Make sure to walk around Sundance Square while you are over there!

Some other downtown favorite spots to get a bite are Mi Cocina and Salsa Limon for a less expensive option.

We love this Vietnamese restaurant for the staff and the delicious Vietnamese coffee.

This is right in Stockyard Station in Fort Worth. With longhorn cattle drives, men on horseback, and fun shops, this is a great place to get a taste of the old West! Make sure to give yourself some time to look around the Stockyards. Horseshoe Hill specializes in different kinds of chicken fried steak. Did you really go to Texas if you didn't eat chicken fried steak at least once?

Take a walk on the Trinity River in some good weather and find yourself at Woodshed Smokehouse. It is in the name, everything on the menu is smoked and the patio is always lively with live music, cute dogs, and yummy food.

If you are looking for drinks and fun right before the ceremony or after the reception is over, here are some places right next to the venue:

Bearded Lady, Pouring Glory, Locust Cider, and Republic Street Bar.

They are all within a mile of the venue!

If you are wanting a family day, the Fort Worth Zoo is a fantastic place to go. They even have a Texas animals section of the zoo!

Of course there is shopping in downtown, but for more high-end restaurants and shopping, The Shops at Clearfork are the way to go. There are stores such as Kate Spade, Neiman Marcus, Untuckit, and Burberry. Some of our favorite restaurants in the area include Fixe and Malai Kitchen. There is also a place called Pinstripes for some pricey bowling.

If there is a game on you are interested in seeing and want to venture out of Fort Worth a little, head to Texas Live! It is a huge complex with about 500 TVs which are bound to be showing your game. If anything go because it is right next to Cowboys Stadium and the Ranger's Ballpark (RIP).

As many of you know, I am an ice cream connoisseur. Melt is arguably some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Stop by Magnolia ave and walk around, do some browsing-there is an adorable Fort Worth store there if you are needing any gifts- and please grab a scoop of their Salt Lick ice cream. Thank me later.
