WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We kindly ask that our guests dress in semi-formal attire for our wedding. Think cocktail dresses, button-down shirts, and khaki pants—nothing too formal, and feel free to skip the tie! Ladies, since the ceremony will take place on grass, please keep your footwear in mind. Additionally, we request that you avoid wearing white or anything that may appear white in photos.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so please be seated no later than 3:50 PM, as seating will no longer be available after that time. If you arrive after 3:50 PM, you will be asked to stand at the back to minimize any disruptions. Cocktail hour will follow the ceremony, with the reception to follow shortly after. We would love for you to stick around for our newlywed send-off at 10:00 PM.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Parking is available on-site in the grassy pastures in front of the venue. Please avoid parking on the gravel. If you plan to enjoy alcoholic beverages, we encourage you to use a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft. For safety, there will be a sheriff on-site to monitor the property and ensure all laws are being followed.
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be held inside the barn. Please consider your footwear, as the ceremony will be on grass. Because North Carolina weather can be unpredictable, the ceremony may be moved indoors if necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE RSVP DEADLINE?
To help us finalize arrangements with our vendors, please make sure to RSVP by April 3, 2025. If we do not receive your response by this date, we will assume your invitation has been declined. Please note, guests who do not RSVP but still attend will not be guaranteed a seat or meal.
WHAT IF I RSVP "YES" BUT CAN'T ATTEND AFTER ALL?
If you’ve already RSVP’d "Yes" but later find that you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can update our vendors with an accurate headcount.
MAY I BRING MY CHILDREN OR A PLUS ONE?
Because of our limited guest list, we respectfully ask that only those who have received a personal invitation or are listed on the RSVP page attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any extra guests who were not invited. While we adore your children, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you can enjoy a well-deserved night off and celebrate with us!
DOES THE VENUE ALLOW SMOKING?
Smoking is permitted in the designated areas outside, which include the Overlook (where cocktail hour is held) and the fire pit. During cocktail hour, please utilize the fire pit for this matter.
