Leaving the airport follow the signs for Galway N18. As you approach the city follow signs for Sligo through Claregalway and keep on N17 towards Tuam (approximately 11 miles). Take left at the R333 towards Headford/Caherlistane. At Queally’s pub in Caherlistane turn right towards Shrule. The lake will be on the left as you drive, turn down a signed by-road on the left for Lisdonagh House.

Exit the Airport taking signs for Dublin City/M50. Get into lane for M50 and follow the signs up the ramp and right to merge onto the M50 southbound around Dublin City. At junction 7, take the N4/M4 exit to Sligo/Westport/Galway/N5/N6 . After the 1st toll at Enfield continue on the M4 West towards Kinnegad but watch for the road splitting and take the M6 to Galway just after junction 10 Kinnegad then continue straight on M6/N6 via Athlone to Galway. On reaching the end of the motorway into Galway take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. Follow the main road to the large light junction and continue straight ahead on the dual carriage way. Straight through next l2 sets of lights and at the round about take the 4th exit for Headford and follow the directions as below.
