Our wedding date has been OFFICIALLY moved to September 5th, 2026. Conveniently (after we had mailed our last Save The Dates), University of Colorado decided to switch up their medical school curriculum schedule, requiring Kyle's attendance on our original date. As such, please update your calendars to September 5th, 2026. Venue will remain the same!

Undoubtedly, yes! We'll have exclusive booking of the Masseria from mid-day Friday thru mid-day Monday. Join for as much or as little of the festivities as you'd like! Here's a quick rundown: - Friday, 10/2 - Welcome Reception (pizza, drinks, etc.) - Saturday, 10/3 - Wedding Day! - Sunday, 10/4 - Recovery / Pool Party / BBQ - Monday, 10/5 - Departure

Masseria Muntibianchi has put a reservation hold on its rooms for the wedding weekend to ensure exclusivity for our event. Muntibianchi will be able to accommodate the majority of our guests. We are currently working with our wedding planner to obtain exclusivity and/or room blocks at other Masserias that are within walking distance of Muntibianchi. Please note that venues at walking distance are along country roads with no side walk for pedestrians and no lights. We will communicate via this platform when these venues are ready to start accepting reservations. That is expected to be end of Q2 2025. If you would prefer to be closer to the ocean and/or the city, we'd recommend seeking accommodations in Otranto or Ostuni - we can provide recommendations!

The nearest major airport is Brindisi Airport (BDS), about 1.5 hours from Otranto. You can also fly into Bari Airport (BRI), which is about 2.5 hours away. We've found Bari to typically have better connection options and cheaper rental cars, but either works. From either airport, you can rent a car or arrange a private transfer.

We'd highly recommend renting a car if you plan to explore Puglia before or after our wedding. We can help arrange transport for anyone that does not stay within walking distance of the wedding venue for the Wedding day. Most Masserias (including Muntibianchi) offer private car service to and from either Bari or Brindisi. We will share more details in late 2025/early 2026.

Our wedding will be an elegant yet relaxed affair. We suggest cocktail or formal attire. We're using it as an excuse to be fancy - join us if you'd like! The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Carly checked the weather in Puglia on the planned day of our wedding in 2024- it was a perfect sunny day at 68 degrees. No promises it will be that way for 2026 but fingers crossed :)

Early October in Otranto is typically pleasant, with daytime temperatures around 70-75°F (21-24°C) and cooler evenings around 60°F (15°C). While it’s mostly sunny, there’s a slight chance of rain, so you may want to bring a light jacket or shawl just in case.
