Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
The ceremony will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church located in Windsor, Nova Scotia, about a 17 min drive from downtown Wolfville.
The reception will be held at Lightfoot and Wolfville Vineyards located in Wolfville. Transportation will be provided to and from the reception from local hotels listed in the Accommodations tab.
Where do you recommend I stay?
If you'd like to stay in the area, check out the Accommodations tab in the main website navigation above! All hotels listed are under 10 mins drive from Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards.
Will there be transportation available?
We will be providing a shuttle service to bring guests to and from their hotels to the reception location at Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards. More details to come!
What time should I arrive?
You should plan to arrive at the Church by 2PM for the Ceremony.
Guests can then make their way back to hotels where they will be picked up by shuttles around 5:30PM and brought to Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards for the Reception.
Where should I park?
When driving to the ceremony location at Saint John the Evangelist Church, there is free parking located at the Hants Aquatic Centre (306 Stannus St), a 3 mins walk from the Church.
While there will be transportation provided from hotels to Lightfoot Winery, if you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking available at the Vineyard.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
Will the ceremony and reception be taking place indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place indoors at the church.
The cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting at Lightfoot & Wolfville.
Dinner and dancing will be taking place under the Marquee Tent at Lightfoot.
What will the weather be like?
Nova Scotia weather in June can go many ways! Typically the daytime temps will be in the mid 60s-70s with night time cooling down to the 50s. Be sure to pack a sweater or two!
What kind of shoes should I wear?
The attire for the day will be semi-formal. Also, much of the winery grounds are grassy so this is something to keep in mind when selecting your footwear.
How can I let you know about my dietary requirements?
When formal invites go out, we will ask for dinner selections and make plans for any guests with dietary restrictions or requirements.
When should I RSVP by?
We ask that guests RSVP no later than May 3, 2024.
