Annapolis Valley is considered "wine country" for Nova Scotia. If exploring the region, you can't go wrong with a wine tour. Some of the most popular vineyards include: Luckett Vineyards, Benjamin Bridge, Gaspereau Vineyards, Lightfoot & Wolfville (You'll see this one 😉) and more.
The Magic Winery Tours are a great option to hit a few of the wineries and see the beautiful area. Tours fill up fast so reserve seats ahead of time.
Other Touring Options include:
On Saturday Morning from 8:30AM - 1PM, you can take a stroll down to the Wolfville Farmers' Market full of local vendors, farmers, live music, and artists from the area.
On Main Street in Wolfville you'll also find plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars, and local boutiques to explore.
Nova Scotia's oldest distillery. Fruit and herb liquors are made onsite from fresh picked ingredients, you can view the garden on your own or book a tour. Garden side picnics are available through reservation.
If it's your first time visiting Nova Scotia, check out the incredible tides of the Bay of Fundy.
Time permitting, visit Burntcoat Head Park (about an hour from downtown Wolfville), site of the highest recorded tides in the world, where at low tide you can easily make your way down the staircase to explore the ocean floor.
