What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Guests should wear cocktail dresses, a suit and tie, or a sports coat.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
The average temperature in Atlanta in May for a typical day ranges from a high of 81°F (27°C) to a low of 59°F (15°C).
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony and the reception will both take place at the Piedmont Garden Tent at 500 10th Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30309.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The Piedmont Garden Tent is an outdoor venue with built-in air-conditioning and heating units. The reception will take place under the tent and the ceremony will take place in the private meadow adjacent to the tent. In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place under the tent.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The Piedmont Garden Tent is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp and walkway located near the stairs to access the tent.
Can I bring a plus one?
We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you would like to bring a plus one. Due to venue restrictions, we will be unable to accommodate plus one requests the closer we get to our date. Please send requests to Jamison at jamisonevaughn@gmail.com.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. A gluten-free and vegan entree will be available. Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Will transportation be provided?
Shuttles will be provided from the Epicurean to the Piedmont Garden Tent and back again. Shuttles will be available approximately every 15-20 minutes starting at 4:30 PM. Please board shuttle no later than 5:15 PM to ensure a 5:30 PM arrival time.
Where should local guests park? Is parking free?
Complimentary self-parking is available for wedding guests at the Piedmont Garden Tent on May 11th, 2024. Complimentary self-parking is not provided for the rehearsal.
Will overnight parking be available?
Guests may leave their cars overnight until 10 AM. The venue is not responsible if something happens to the vehicle.
Is there a block of rooms reserved?
There are reserved blocks for wedding guests at the Epicurean, AC, Moxy, and Marriott hotels. The hotels are all located within walking distance of one another. Please see the Accommodations page for information on reserving a room.
What airport should I fly into?
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is a short 10 miles from Midtown Atlanta. There are many direct flights available in and out of this airport.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.
