Our Wedding

We met the way any good millennial couple meets--online! But not Tinder, oh no. We are still nerds at heart and met on Discord. Well...kind of. The year was 2021, and while Pokémon Go had been out for five years and had largely fallen out of favor for many, two hold outs were still voraciously playing. At the end of November, Carly posted to Discord looking for a trade. She (ashamedly) didn't think much of it when Dustin responded, as she was acquainted with him through a Facebook group and he was one of her first "best friends" in-game. They had done previous trades but had never met in person. A plan was hatched for the trade to take place next time Carly was at her brother's, as he lived in Dustin's neighborhood. As you know, dear reader, love takes time to blossom, especially when one of the love birds is oblivious to it. But finally in February 2022, our couple met up for the trade. They got to talking and the rest, they say, is history. 💕

We have a toll-free number dedicated for reservations. Please call 1-844-860-2411 and give code K72132. We have a room block for Friday and Saturday evening.There are two room options: a double queen standard room at a rate of $199 a night, or an El Grande 2-bedroom condo at a rate of $389 a night. As an aside, I (Carly) have tested the number myself and the woman I spoke with did mention that if people call during a busy time they may be transferred to Wyndham or another call center to book. They do not have the code, only Chula Vista will have access to the room block and so you will have to transfer back to CV to book directly with them for the discount. I apologize for this inconvenience but please let me know if you have any trouble.

For our loved ones traveling by air, the closest airport is Dane County Regional Airport, about an hour south of Wisconsin Dells in Madison. Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee is about two hours away but may offer more flight options.

Even though our wedding is post season for the Dells there is still a ton of things to do in the area!

Chula Vista itself has an indoor water park, spa, and 18 hole golf course! Take in the fall colors on a Dells Boat tour, just down the road from Chula Vista.https://www.dellsboats.com/ Take a hike in one of the nearby state parks -- Mirror Lake and Rocky Arbor are within 10 miles, and Devil's Lake is just a little further down the road.https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Parks Try some local wine and spirits at Fawn Creek, Wollersheim, Balanced Rock, and Baraboo Bluffs.
