What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP under the RSVP tab on our wedding website by May 3rd.
What is the wedding timeline?
Ceremony: 5:30PM-6PM;
Cocktail Hour: 6PM-7PM;
Reception: 7PM-midnight.
All events will be held inside at the Heinz History Center. Guests will be directed by staff where and when to head to each event.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all being held indoors at the Heinz History Center on 1212 Smallman Street in Pittsburgh, PA. The building is completely ADA accessible.
What are the hotel accommodations?
Our hotel accommodations are listed on our wedding website under the Travel tab. We have hotel blocks at both the Hampton Inn by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown (directly across the street from our venue) and the Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown (a few buildings down from our venue). If these fill up, there are numerous hotels in the Strip District within walking distance to our venue including the AC Hotel by Marriott Pittsburgh Downtown, the Westin Pittsburgh, and many more! If you are going to book a hotel room at one of our room blocks, PLEASE book by May 2nd if you would like a discount, as that is when they will be opening up any unused rooms.
Is there parking at the venue?
The Heinz History Center does not own their own parking lot. However, they are surrounded by parking lots that cost roughly $5.00-$12.00 per car, depending on what is happening in the city. There is also plenty of street parking in the surrounding area.
If you are staying in our hotel room block at the Hampton Inn by Hilton, you will be able to park in their parking lot for free once you are checked in.
Will there be any shuttles from the venue to hotel(s)?
There will not be any shuttles provided as the hotels are in extremely close walking proximity to our venue and our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all being held in the same building.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal or black-tie optional. This means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo), but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress.
The bridesmaids will be wearing champagne gold.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your kids, but you deserve a night out! Besides our close relatives who are there to be our flower girls and ring bearers, this wedding is for adults only.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes, there is a vegetarian meal choice, as well as a comment box to note any dietary restrictions you may have when you RSVP. Our caterer will accommodate any noted dietary restrictions.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. To ensure you are able to be seated, please arrive before that time.
Will there be an open bar?
DUH! We are excited to celebrate and provide drinks to our family and friends!
