Friday August, 14th

6:00 PM — Welcome Party! To kick off the weekend join us for a casual dinner and drinks on the lawn in front of the Mansfield House on the property. Pizza, wine and beer will be served from 6-9 PM.

Saturday August 15th 

4:00 PM — Guests begin arriving for the ceremony 4:30 PM — Ceremony 5 - 11:00 PM — Cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing

Sunday August 16th 

10:00 AM — Farewell brunch on the Mansfield lawn, coffee and light brunch fare will be served. Come and said goodbye before heading out!

There should be enough lodging for most if not all of our guests at Sterling Ridge Resort, where all events and the wedding will be taking place. In the event of a shortage of lodging, please reach out to us and we will happily point you in the direction of other hotels and airbnb's in the area!

As always, Kyle and Carly are happy to give additional recommendations if you reach out! Hiking, sight-seeing and more Mount Mansfield | The tallest mountain in Vermont! Access from Stowe Mountain Resort, the Hellbrook Trailhead, the Barnes Camp Trailhead or the Underhill State Park. It's a great hike, but please be aware there are no easy routes up or down. Kyle loves to talk about Mount Mansfield, so ask him for the best route. If hiking isn't an option, you can drive the toll road to the summit. Sterling Pond | A short, steep and scenic hike located about 15 minutes from the venue. It's where Kyle and Carly met! Smuggler's Notch | Take the scenic route to Stowe. Smuggler's Notch is a windy and mountainous road very close to the venue, with plenty of options to stop and sightsee. Nebraska Notch | Access from the Nebraska Notch Trailhead at the top of Stevensville Road in Underhill, or the Lake Mansfield Trailhead in Stowe for a shorter route. Moderate difficultly and much easier than Mount Mansfield. Smuggler's Notch Resort | Lots of easy hiking and walking trails located at the ski resort, about a 10-minute drive from the venue. Mountain Biking | Vermont has great mountain biking. Rent bikes from Sir Henry's Bike Shop at Smuggler's Notch Resort. There are trails at the resort, and plenty of other options nearby. Bike Paths | Check out the Stowe Bike Path or the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail for a fun, meandering bike ride. Disc Golf | Did you know Jeffersonville has one of the top-ranked disc golf courses in the world? Check out Brewster Ridge at Smuggler's Notch Resort. Swimming | There is no shortage of great river swimming. Try Bingham Falls or Foster's Hole in Stowe, or ask Kyle for recommendations closer to the venue. You can also swim in the pool or pond (it's more like a small lake, we promise) at Sterling Ridge. Trapp Family Lodge | Easy walking and hiking trails in Stowe, with a large Bierhaus for great food and drink after. Fishing | The pond at the venue is stocked with trout, so bring your rod! There are other nearby rivers and lakes for any interested anglers. Groceries and Shopping Hanley's General Store | Small market in Jeffersonville for basic needs | 30 S Vermont 108, Jeffersonville, VT 05464 Stowe Village | About 40-50 minutes from the venue. Great, walkable main street with many shops and tourist attractions. FAQ's Will the event be indoors or outdoors?All events will be outdoors. The welcome dinner and brunch are planned outside (weather permitting) and will move under the tent if needed. The wedding reception will be held under a tent on grassy ground, so please wear comfortable, stable footwear—platforms, wedges, or dressy flats are better choices than stilettos. What does Summer Formal mean?Wear something summery and nice—light, breathable fabrics are best. We expect it will be warm, so comfort is key. Where will all the wedding festivities be held?All events will take place on the property at Sterling Ridge Resort on the Lawn behind the Mansfield House. We will have signs on the day; if you’re lost, look for the big white tent! Will there be any activities to do at Sterling Ridge? If you’re staying at the resort, there’s a pool and a large pond with canoes and kayaks. There are also walking trails around the property. Jeffersonville and Stowe (through Smuggler's Notch) have many nearby activities—see our "Things to Do" page for recommendations. Are kids or plus-ones invited to the wedding?Unless specified on your invitation or RSVP, guests and children are not invited. If you’re unsure, please reach out to Kyle or Carly for clarification.
