Boise is home to many great golf courses, situated all around the valley. These are also very close to Downtown Boise and Eagle where the wedding will take place.

A historical landmark situated in an old neighborhood north of downtown Boise. Holds a variety of great restaurants, bars, and antique shops. Also situated near the foothills which is a beginning point for a lot of hiking.

Boise is situated within minutes of the Boise National Forest, and throughout the foothills, there are numerous hiking and walking trails that overlook the city. The road that climbs the mountain toward the wintertime ski resort Bogus Basin also offers great views and hiking trails throughout with increasing elevation.

If you want to stay near the city, trailhead entrances can be located at Camel's Back Park and near Cottonwood Creek Trailhead.

The Boise River, Lucky Peak Reservoir, and the Arrowrock Reservoir are close options to Downtown Boise to fish
