Caroline describes it as garden party attire! Short, mid-lenth, or long dresses are all options for women. Collard shirts and slacks for men. Coats and ties are appropriate but optional! Keep in mind we are getting married in a garden with grass, cobblestones, and gravel! We recommend wearing easy shoes/outfits for these conditions... and those few extra beers!

Yes! This is a casual get-together the night before the wedding. We'd love to welcome you to the island and have another chance to talk with you before the wedding day! The welcome party will be outside on the patio of the Friday Harbor House in Friday Harbor, so dress accordingly (casual/jeans are ok!). Shuttles from Roche Harbor to Friday harbor are scheduled to make sure everyone can get to and from the venue safely (more info on shuttle times to come). Drinks will be available but no food will be served, so we suggest eating dinner before coming to the welcome party! Cant wait to see you there!

If you are staying at Roche Harbor, parking is included for guests. For those not staying at Roche Harbor, there are a number of parking lots a short walk from the ceremony/reception site.
