Essex Street Inn is right in downtown Newburyport! Its less than a block to the main street, filled with shops, restaurants, bars, and more. Its a short walk to the riverfront, or a 10 minute ride to the beach. After the reception, Caroline and James will be at a bar a block away if you want to continue celebrating into the night!


We have a room block here, with a variety of room styles available. If you want to bunk with a friend or enjoy a cozy New England weekend with someone you love, there are rooms for you!

The Garrison Inn is a boutique inn also in downtown Newburyport. If you're looking for a unique New England inn experience, this is your place! We don't have a room block here, but you're welcome to book directly through their website. The Garrison and Essex Street are only three blocks apart, and both are great options for exploring downtown.

Amesbury is just across the river north of Newburyport. It's a short 10 minute drive or uber to the Newburyport train station or to downtown Newburyport if you're looking to explore. Amesbury also has a cute downtown with lovely stores and restaurants, and it is a short drive from the hotel.
