Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only event.

Will I need a rental car?

Yes, if you're coming from out of town, you will need a rental car. Snowbasin Resort is about an hour from Salt Lake City, and there is no lodging at the resort itself. You'll need a car to get to your accommodations in nearby towns like Huntsville, Eden, or Ogden, and to travel between venues over the weekend. We recommend booking a rental car in advance to make your trip as smooth as possible!

What will the weather be like?

Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, especially in the summer! For late June, typical daytime highs are around 75-85°F (24-29°C), with cooler nighttime lows of 45-55°F (7-13°C). The mountain air can feel brisk, especially in the evening, so we recommend dressing in layers.

What should I wear?

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire—think *mountain rustic elegance*. The ceremony will be held outside at the top of the mountain, so please keep the weather in mind when choosing your outfit. The venue, Needles Lodge at Snowbasin, sits at approximately 8,700 feet in elevation, so layers might be a good idea!

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Yes, the ceremony will be outside, so please plan accordingly. If the weather takes a turn, we’ll have a backup plan indoors. The reception will be indoors, but there will be an outdoor deck for dancing and s'mores!

Where is the ceremony and reception?

The ceremony will take place at Needles Lodge at Snowbasin Resort, located at 3925 E Snowbasin Rd, Huntsville, UT 84317. After a scenic gondola ride up to the lodge, you'll enjoy breathtaking views at 8,700 feet. The reception will follow immediately at the same location.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will specify if a plus one is included. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at 5:00 PM as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Keep in mind that the gondola ride up to the top of the mountain takes about 13 minutes, so give yourself enough time to enjoy the scenic ride and find your seat. Dinner will follow the ceremony and be served by 7:00 PM to ensure everyone can enjoy a meal without dining too late. And, to make the day even more special, it's the summer solstice weekend, meaning you'll experience the longest day of the year! With sunset around 9:00 PM, there will be plenty of daylight left to enjoy the beautiful setting and evening festivities

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes, a full dinner will be served after the ceremony, along with cocktails and refreshments. We’ll have cocktails available as guests arrive, so you can enjoy a drink while enjoying the views. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres before dinner begins.

Is there parking available?

Yes, plenty of parking is available on-site at Snowbasin Resort.

Is there a hotel nearby?

There is no lodging at Snowbasin Resort itself. However, there are plenty of options at the bottom of the mountain in the nearby towns of Huntsville, Eden, Mountain Green, Morgan, and Ogden. We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Compass Rose, Alaskan Inn, Atomic Chalet, and Wolf Creek Lodge. You can find more information on the "Travel" page for booking details and other recommendations.

How do I RSVP?

Please use the RSVP section on the formal invitation that will be mailed out. Kindly respond by May 1st, 2025, so we can finalize our plans and ensure everything is ready for the big day!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes! You can find our registry in this website's "Registry" section.
