If you are flying into Boston Logan Airport, there is a direct shuttle to Martha's Vineyard Ferry. The last shuttle leaves at 6:15 pm. It is about 1 hr 40 mins in duration. Please keep this in mind when planning flight arrival time. Would recommend purchasing shuttle tickets when booking flights ($32.00 one way).

We recommend purchasing ferry tickets online ahead of time to simplify things; you can also purchase them in person at Woods Hole. If guests are renting a car at the airport, and do not plan on taking it on island, you can park your car at the Palmer Avenue Woods Hole parking lot. The 45-minute ferry will depart from Woods Hole to either Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven, MV. The town guests arrive in does not really matter, except with consideration to where you might be staying. Ferry tickets do not need to be purchased far in advance unless you are bringing a car on the island. If that is the case, a car reservation must be made well in advance (several weeks-month) ahead of time. If guests are bringing a car on the ferry, you must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. The last ferry is at 9:45 pm to Vineyard Haven. Passenger tickets are $10 one way. If guests are renting a car at the airport, and do not plan on taking it on island, you can park your car at the Palmer Avenue Woods Hole parking lot for a nightly fee (approximately $20/night). A complimentary bus will then take you to Woods Hole ferry (they run every 15 minutes or so).

Walk up taxi locations are available at The Steamship Authority Ferry Vineyard Haven as well as 7 Dock St. in Edgartown.

If you are planning on staying within walking distance of its stops, guests can take local bus that departs from ferry terminal. Routes/fares can be found on website.
