Things to Do
As you know, Charleston is a very popular destination spot with plenty to do! We have listed some great options below. If you have any questions or need further recommendations, please reach out to Caroline & Nick.
Bike Rentals
You can rent bikes downtown and ride around The Battery neighborhood or anywhere you would like. It is a great way to see the city.
These can easily be reserved on the “Holy Spokes” app. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g54171-d12551483-Reviews-Holy_Spokes_Charleston_Bike_Share-Charleston_South_Carolina.html
Shopping
King St. has hundreds of stores all within walking distance. We also recommend checking out the famous Straw Market on Meeting Street. If you like sweets we highly recommend Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe after you get your steps in at the Straw Market!
Shem Creek
This is a great place on the water to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery (and occasional dolphins)! Located just on the other side of the bridge in Mt. Pleasant, Shem Creek has several restaurants and bars on each side of the inlet. Plenty of parking spaces available. We recommend -
