When Caroline and I finally met in person, it felt long overdue. We had crossed paths several times and even become friends on Snapchat, exchanging a few short conversations before ever speaking face to face. I was honestly a bit intimidated—too nervous to approach her at the gym. Eventually, Caroline made it clear: if I wanted to get to know her, I’d have to talk to her in real life.
From the moment we started talking at the gym, I was hooked. In the weeks that followed, I’d regularly get in trouble with my friends (sorry, Blake and Caul) for standing around chatting with Caroline long after our workouts were over. But I couldn’t help it—her charm, her wit, and her beauty kept me coming back. I even spent a whole month asking her out before she finally said yes.
From our very first date, I’ve been stumbling, tripping, and falling head over heels for Caroline. We officially became a couple on April 14th, 2024, marking the beginning of an incredible journey together. And as most of you already know, I’ve been completely smitten ever since.
That feeling hasn’t faded—not even a little. It’s only grown stronger, bringing us to our engagement, and now, our marriage.
My love for Caroline deepens every single day, and I couldn’t be more excited to call her my wife—with all of you here to witness it.
I believe Chance and I were a long time coming; our paths crossed a number of times before we finally met officially.
Many of you know Chance, so it may or may not surprise you that our first interactions took place on Instagram and Snapchat, and our first conversation only occurred after I told him he ought to talk to me in person. Thank goodness he did! One brief conversation in the heart of Train Waco and we were off… sort of. I remember Chance asking me to go out with him a number of times over the course of eight weeks, all of which I respectfully declined, but his charm was working. It was also in the heart of Train Waco when I agreed, at long last, to a date. Chance picked me up three days later for dinner at Bertie’s on the Rooftop and, really & truly, the rest is history.
It’s since been an incredible 18 months of the kind of laughter that pains your stomach and smiles that make your face sore. I’m so excited for a lifetime more, and to celebrate the start of that forever with y’all!
