Why RSVP?
There are so many people we would love to have at our wedding! Logistics are a bit tricky in the locations we chose, so we need an *exact headcount* as far in advance as possible in order to be able to rent adequate equipment and provide proper space at both ceremony and reception locations. Please encourage friends or family who were invited to RSVP, as well! A missing RSVP will result in a missing seat, so please make sure your RSVP has been entered online so we'll have a place for you!
When and Where Will the Wedding Be?
The wedding ceremony will be on the nostalgic Weimar Academy lawn at 3pm on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Please plan extra time to park in the main campus area or outside the main campus gate. There will be shuttle services provided for those who prefer not to walk. Please be advised, the road to the Academy will be closed to all traffic (including foot and motor) at 3pm for the duration of the ceremony, so plan ample time to arrive and get settled well ahead of time.
Why Will the Road to the Venue Be Closed for the Duration of the Ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors on the Weimar Academy Lawn, so the road with access to the ceremony venue will be closed to all traffic, including foot and motor, at 3pm. This is so there will be no traffic in the background of the wedding platform or pictures while the ceremony is under way.
Will There Be a Reception to Follow?
There will be a reception to follow off-site in the Auburn area. Directions and parking instructions will be provided. RSVP for the wedding ceremony to have a spot at the reception venue, as well!
What should I wear?
Garden Party Attire: Sundresses, maxi dresses or skirts, consider wedges, block heels or flats instead of heels since there will be considerable walking on grass and uneven terrain. Dress shirts with slacks or chinos with dress shoes, jackets optional. Head over to the What to Wear section if you'd like a visual example!
What About Weekend Plans?
There will be a potluck on campus followed by a hike on Sabbath, for those interested. If you live in the area and would like to come, please contact Maryann Krueger to let her know you can bring food to the potluck. Maryann Krueger: (731) 676-7435
What If I Want to Help with the Setup?
