An ideal day for them is waking up, enjoying a pork roll egg and cheese from Joe's Deli, hitting the beach via bicycle, then hopping over to Parker House or The Columns for a cool, refreshing beverage while listening to local band Pat Roddy. Finally, capping the day off by revisiting the beach for a Jersey sunset. What's even better than this ideal summer beach day? Doing it during local summer! Asbury Park has the most to offer with bars, resturants and entertainment. Our favorite bar to go together is in Asbury: Johnny Mac's (when it's not too crowded). Ask the bartender for a free pizza ticket with each drink. Keep an eye out for the hidden-in-plain-sight candy machine!

There are a lot of great options nearby. The Breakers Hotel in Spring Lake (short distance from church) has a small bar and a porch with a view of the ocean. Spring Lake Tap House or Heights 27 (both located in Spring Lake Heights, short uber ride), Marina Grille, Beach Haus Brewery, Anchor Tavern (all in Belmar, short uber ride) are on the way to The Columns and great places to spend the time between the ceremony and the reception.
