As many of you know, we met during Covid in a nontraditional, but becoming the new normal way, Tinder. We started talking on the app, then on Snapchat (because Jacob said it was more polite to ask for my snapchat than my number). Then one beautiful summer day, Jacob asked me out on a date. Me being me, I was very hesitant and needed a lot of persuading from a certain friend (you know who you are). I decided to say yes and even let this strange man pick me up. (Who was I?) The date went wonderfully and we just instantly clicked. And from there, the rest is history!

I met Casey in person for the first time on June 10th, 2020 after getting to know each other on Tinder for a while. I picked her up at the house we now live in together and I just remember her smile and beautiful blonde hair as we rode to Dairy Queen together. I don’t remember what we were talking about but just thought it was so natural. I felt like we could be good friends if we weren’t going to date. As we got to the pond where we had our first date with our Blizzards, we ate and talked some more. I saw then that I didn’t want to be friends at all with her, I needed to date her. She was very pretty, smart, funny and seemed like a family oriented person which was incredibly important to me. I can honestly say there’s been no regrets for the past 4 plus years leading up to this day where I will make her my forever partner. I can’t imagine how unfulfilled my life would be if I never swiped right.
