Though this venue overlooks Atlantic Beach, none of our events will take place on the beach. Weather dependent, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will be held indoors (with AC!) while the after party will also be held indoors (with an outdoor area as well), downstairs at Newport Beach House's Oyster Lounge.

While we absolutely adore your children, we have decided to keep all of our events child-free. We want you parents to enjoy a well-deserved weekend just for yourselves!

For our wedding, transportation will be provided to and from The Sonesta Select Newport Middletown hotel and Holiday Inn Express Newport-Middletown hotel as well as to and from a central bar downtown on Thames street called The Red Parrot for those folks who decide to stay elsewhere and want to take transportation. As The Atlantic Beach Hotel Newport is right across the street from the wedding venue, we will not provide transportation to or from there. Please note, we will not be providing transportation to the Welcome Party. (For more details, visit the "Travel & Accommodations" and "Transportation" pages of this website)

For our Welcome Party at Forty 1 North, if you would like to drive and park at the venue, there is a $20 day rate and $40 overnight rate (payment is upon arrival). However, please note there are only 60 spaces available on site and those are also available to hotel guests so can fill up quickly. Uber is another great option you can use. Additionally, there is the Perry Parking Lot (20 Perry Mill Wharf) nearby as well as other city parking lots. For our wedding at the Newport Beach House, there should be plenty of parking directly at the venue for guests choosing to drive.
