Our Story

Casey and Brian met during the time of Covid-19 when they were both seniors at UMass Amherst. When Brian and Casey met in November, Brian only had three weeks left in Amherst, before moving back to Long Island to complete his student teaching in-person. Despite only having three weeks to initially get to know each other, Casey and Brian knew that it was worth it to give their connection a chance to grow. Over the next month, Casey and Brian spent many nights FaceTiming and getting to know each other. When Brian visited Casey in Amherst mid-December, he decided to make their relationship official. Casey and Brian spent their spring semester of senior year alternating weekends spent in Amherst and Long Island. With Casey and Brian both being Disney people, naturally they spent their first vacation together in Disney World. They had their first "argument" when Brian swore that putting an ice cube down Casey's shirt would be refreshing. They worked through it and the trip showed them how much they cared for each other and how they could see a future together. Many adventures later and Brian decided it was time to propose. He planned a great cruise with their closest friends, without telling Casey the real purpose of the trip. When Brian insisted on taking pictures before their nice dinner at "Chops Grille" on board, Casey wanted to look her best and was very glad she did. The rest of the cruise was spent celebrating their love and appreciating the friends who helped make the trip magical.

Natalie has been one of Casey's best friends since they were married to each other in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," at Greater Boston Stage Company.

Brenda and Casey met in their freshman year of high school and continued their friendship during their time at UMass Amherst and beyond.

Maeven and Casey became best friends after living together during the Dark Age of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Brooke and Casey met working at Kenwal Day Camp and became fast friends. They stayed friends after Casey left Kenwal and love their sushi / bagel dates.

Mike and Brian have twin telepathy and became friends before they could speak! Mike and Brian shared bunk beds at home until they finished college. Mike was there to witness Brian's proposal.

Although Adam has been mistaken more often as Brian's actual twin than his younger brother, Adam has been a great brother to Brian.

Brian and Joe met at UMass Amherst. They lived on the same floor their freshman year. Brian and Joe enjoy going to music festivals together.

Josh has been a true friend to Brian and visits him and Casey in Northampton. They met as campers at Kenwal Day Camp and have been great friends since. They share the passion of teaching and love of the Rangers.

Cory is one of Brian's friends from childhood. They went from going to summer camp with each other as kids to golfing on the weekend as adults.

Brian and Justin grew up together and have been great friends. They would hangout together more days than not.

Jared is like another younger brother to Brian. Originally Adam's friend, their friendship grew as they both got older. Today, Brian and Jared keep in touch daily.

Brad is a loyal friend to Brian and has always served as his mentor in Minecraft endeavors. After they both got cut from the soccer team, they spent a lot of time together.

Austin is a reliable friend who grew up with Brian. Any sport you can think of, Brian and Austin played it together. Growing up, they spent many all-nighters together playing video games  and Nerf wars in Austin's basement.

When you call, the recorded line may say “Wiggins Tavern,” but that’s just the restaurant in the hotel. Stay on the line and it will be the hotel. Even when the block fills up, there will still be plenty of rooms available at the Hotel Northampton. The difference in pricing for the rooms within the block will be minimal compared to rooms at the hotel that are not in the block. There are currently four rooms available in this block.

This hotel is a 6 minute drive or a 16 minute walk to the Hotel Northampton.

Bradley International Airport (BDL) is the closest airport to the Western Mass area. There are several rental car companies at the airport as well. Another option is to fly into Boston Logan Airport. This is a larger airport so there may be more flight options but it is further away. If you're interested in visiting Boston for a day or two, this could be a good option.
