Located right next to the Embassy Suites, Halycon boasts shopping, dining and entertainment. Big Creek Greenway lies across the street. One of our earliest outings included drinks at Cherry Street Brewing Company after a walk up and down the Greenway.

Located around Fairfield Inn, the Collection includes shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and Casey's favorite, a Barnes and Noble.

Right down State Route 400, off of exit 9, the North Point area has a lot of entertainment options. We've enjoyed competing at Top Golf and bowling at Main Event. There are several movie theaters, many restaurants, and lots of shopping in and around North Point Mall.

If you're willing to drive further afield, Atlanta has a lot of attractions. The Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke are a couple of our favorites, both located around Centennial Olympic Park.

Fall is a beautiful time to be hiking in north Georgia! We've enjoyed some nearby moderate trails including Laurel Ridge (Lower Overlook Rd, Buford, GA 30518) which takes you on a 4-mile loop around Lake Lanier and Indian Seats (2500 Bettis Tribble Gap Rd, Cumming, GA 30040) a 4-mile loop that takes you up to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains and fall foliage.
