Dax Simoneaux - Best Man - Groom's Son
Dax is the center of Chris's world and also his mini-me. Chris
is proud to be his father, and more importantly his daddy.
Jaime Williams - Matron of Honor - Best Friend
Jaime and Casey go back more than 30 years. They spent their early years walking to Eckerd for candy and then watching soap operas and "A Wedding Story" after school. Don't ask her any questions (especially about middle school)... she knows ALL of Casey's secrets.
Steve Simoneaux, Sr. - Best Man - Groom's Father
The guy who has been there for Chris since day one, Steve is never at a loss for words, guidance, and wisdom. A good friend nowadays. The most consistent golfer in the family.
Kaley James - Bridesmaid - Cousin
Casey was ten years old when Kaley was born and instantly fell in love with her new little cousin. Casey spent that summer staying with her Aunt to spend time with Kaley and their bond grew stronger. Kaley has always been a little sister and Casey's first "baby." She has grown into the strongest, most faith filled and amazing woman that Casey now gets to look up to in so many ways!
Steve Simoneaux, Jr. - Groomsman - Officiant - Brother
One of kind who has a direct line to God for those in need. A true light in the world and great big brother who is invested in making this world a better place. Currently, he is the worst golfer of the family.
Corynn Alberto - Bridesmaid - Cousin
The "OG", Casey's first friend. Close in age, Corynn has always been more like a big sister to Casey. Weekends at Nanny and Poppy's house drinking (dripping) tea, eating fig newtons, "washing" rags on Nanny's clothesline, Poppy's spaghetti, and the secret passageway are amazing core memories that are cherished forever. Now, as adults, their friendship has only grown stronger!
Jamie Scorsone - Groomswoman - Sister
As the only daughter, Jamie is and always will be the princess of the Simoneaux family. A mother with unconditional love, a big smile, even bigger heart and someone Chris knows he can always turn to.
Gerette Martin - Bridesmaid - Best Friend
Over thirty years in the making, "G" has been there through it all! From softball, school, touring colleges, to working at TY Park, trips to Target and Chipotle, thinking they were experts in cake decorating (they weren't). The memories and the hours spent together are both countless and priceless.
Cody Simoneaux - Groomsman - Brother
A man of many talents and another great example of how to be a man for Chris. He is a great brother too! Cody is the life of the party on Saturday night and will also lead the choir at church Sunday morning. Currently, the best golfer in the family.
Natalie Talpesh - Bridesmain - Best Friend
Seventh grade! The year that changed it all! "Nat" came into Casey's life because God knew how much they needed each other. That summer, they spent days in Natalie's family camper as her house was being renovated and the friendship was solidified for life.
Melissa Kaye McComb - Groomswoman - Cousin
Another true sister to Chris. Always one to smile and brighten your day. She and Chris have been there for each other, and probably have some secrets they have both forgotten. Oh, she will beat you in a marathon too.
Deanna Wood - Bridesmaid - Cousin
Casey was six year's old, sitting on Nanny's counter eating Bisquik (don't ask), when the phone rang and she found out her new little cousin was born. They really grew up together and Casey has watched her grow into such a strong and amazing woman. Deanna is now someone who Casey can turn to for life coaching and spiritual advice and their chats are always uplifting.
Jake Rabalais - Groomsman/Best Friend
Jake R. has gotten Chris out of the trouble Chris created in the same day on more than one occasion. Will give you the shirt off his back but when he does, don't stare at his abs, or do, it's up to you. Brings the electricity anywhere he goes.
Kellie Jordan - Bridesmaid - Cousin
Kellie is not just a cousin, but also a true friend. Ask Kellie about the North Carolina trip, "shoo fly", the yellow jackets, carpet ball, singing Disney songs, trick or treating, New Year's Eve at Uncle Ray's house... actually don't ask her! Casey and Kellie grew up together and now have been able to grow in friendship as adults.
Jake Cameron - Groomsman/Best Friend
Good Ole Jake C. The OG BF, uses "the force" to guide his life. Always there for Chris, and probably helped Chris create the trouble Jake R got them out of.
Mariella Thomas - Bridesmaid - Best Friend
Mari has been a true friend and will stand by those she loves always! Some of the best memories were playing for "Bottoms Up" together, the DC trip, crab boil, fireworks over the river, New Year's Eve at her parent's house, painting Casey's first condo, visiting Jaime and Casey in NOLA and so many more memories that will be cherished forever.
The Bridal Party...
Yes, we know, there are a lot of people! Casey wanted more! From the early days, Casey always knew that her 4 female cousins and her 4 best friends would be in her wedding, nobody was changing her mind! The problem was not being able to add more close friends. Chris, in an initial state of shock at Casey's eight, wondered if he could match that. Quickly, he counted those he was planning to ask and realized that with Dax, Dad, 3 siblings, a cousin and 2 best friends, he had the perfect amount to match. They are both so thankful to have these people in their lives and couldn't ask for better family and friends to stand with them at their wedding!
