Active military fort of the Royal 22nd Regiment! You can take guided tours, visit the museum, and witness the changing of the guard. Cass and I visited during our first trip to Quebec and couldn't find the entrance, so slid down a wall of snow and wandered around the base looking for it. We didn't realize it was still an active base so we're quite lucky we didn't get shot for trespassing.

Opened in 1879, the 195ft funicular transports you between the upper and lower towns (upper town access is just behind the Chateau Frontenac)

Gourmet Quebecois fare in a 'Swiss-chalet' setting. If you're feeling cold (shocking) and need comfort food and wine, this is a great place to go.

I doubt any Canadian would actually recommend this to their out of town visitors, but this is a fast-casual 'make your own' poutine restaurant with cocktails. We spent 4hrs here during our first trip, it was awesome. But I don't recommend going before the wedding, as you may feel like a block of cement afterwards. Good hangover food though.

Sledding/tobogganing just next to the Frontenac! $3CA per person per ride, or $10 for 4 rides. The slide has been in operation since 1884!
