It all started in a way we never expected. We met at our close friend Crystal’s new house. Jordan, being a man of few words, didn’t exactly come off as approachable at first. He only said about two words to me that day, and honestly, I didn’t think much of it. But little did we know, that initial encounter was just the beginning. As fate would have it, we kept running into each other at random places—each time, the spark of curiosity grew a little stronger. Finally, Jordan took a step forward and asked Crystal for my Snapchat. It was a simple gesture, but from there, our conversations became endless. We’d talk all day and night, learning more about each other with each message. Our first official date was at Itos, a quiet spot where we could talk and get to know each other better. From that night on, we were inseparable. What started as casual chats soon turned into a relationship built on laughter, shared experiences, and a growing love for one another. Together, we’ve been on so many adventures: hiking with the dogs, fishing trips, spontaneous car rides, lake days and even shopping trips (even though Jordan definitely doesn’t love those). Through it all, we’ve grown not just as a couple, but as a family. Jordan has taken on the role of an incredible stepdad to my kids, and we’ve all come together in a bond that’s so special. Our family is made up of Cassandra, Jordan, Rowdy, Raul, and our two amazing dogs, Hazel and River. We’ve laughed, loved, and supported each other through it all, and we’re excited to continue this journey together.
