In June 2020, Cassidy was feeling cute one day at the beach and decided to take a nice photo of herself in her new Levis jean shorts she had spent her hard earned CERB money on. She decided to throw a cute edit on it, post it on VSCO, and call it a day. Later on that evening when she was checking her like/repost count on VSCO, she noticed a new name she hadn't seen before like her picture. She decided to check out this aidenyoung and noticed that maybe he was single, and a very good looking man.

Testing waters out, she followed him on instagram, and to her surprise - he followed her back! Wanting to see if he could be interested, she posted a selfie from the same beach photoshoot to see if he would like it - and he did! Taking this as a final sign of his interest, she slid into his DMs with a "Hey! Who takes your photos?" and they talked that night until 3 in the morning with Aiden ending the conversation with, "I think it would be easier if we talked over iMessage, what's your number?" and the rest was history.
