We kindly request cocktail or formal attire for our celebration. Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors in June, providing a comfortable setting to enjoy the evening in style.

We love and appreciate all of our friends and family! Due to space and planning, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

This will be a child-friendly wedding. We’ve invited the children of all our family members attending, and if your child is included, their name will appear on your RSVP. Guests with a plus one are welcome to bring their child. However, due to seating limitations, we aren’t able to accommodate additional children as guests. We do kindly ask that all guests 13 years or younger select the chicken tenders meal option.

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony and be fully present with us in the moment. We’ve hired a photographer to capture everything, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you!

Yes, the hotel offers a parking structure. Overnight guests with a room will receive a discounted rate of $15 (50% off). For guests not staying at the hotel, parking is available at the standard rate of $30.

Yes, we have rooms blocked at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Grand Rapids. When you call to make your reservation mention the Schnepp/Hester wedding for the block discount. River front rooms are $219/night and non-river front rooms are $207/night.

We kindly ask guests to arrive to the ceremony by 2:45 PM to be seated, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. If you are joining us for the reception only, please plan to arrive by 4:45 PM, as the bridal party will make their entrance at 5:00 PM. Please Feel free to join us as early as 3:30 PM for cocktail hour and an open bar. The bar will close for one hour from 5:00-6:00 PM, please arrive in time to get drinks before dinner.

Kindly RSVP and reserve your room by May 1, 2026. This date serves as the deadline for both RSVP responses and our hotel room block.

Guests are invited to enjoy our cocktail hour, which will feature a charcuterie arrangement and an open bar. If you’d like to explore, there are also several wonderful bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

For our younger guests under 13, we kindly ask that they select the chicken tenders option for their meal. If your child is too young to eat a provided meal and you will be providing their food please let us know in the dietary restrictions section so we can take this into account.

Yes — we will have an open bar. It will be open 3:30–5:00 PM for cocktail hour, close 5:00–6:00 PM for the grand entrance, first dance, and start of dinner, then reopen at 6:00 PM and remain open until 10:30 PM.
