Ceremony and reception are both taking place at Dancing Bear Lodge and will be outdoors weather permitting. We will provide blankets for the ceremony if the weather is cold, but the cocktail hour and reception will be under heaters. The ceremony will take place on the grass (seating will be provided). The reception will take place on the landing

There is a gravel parking lot located next to the Dancing Bean coffee shop in which you may park; it will be marked with a "wedding guest" parking sign to ensure you are in the right spot. From there, a shuttle will take you up to the ceremony site. This will begin running around 3:15 pm. It will also be available to take you back to the parking lot and will stop running around 10:15 pm.

October is generally considered one of the most comfortable months for Townsend temperature-wise. The average high temperatures range in the mid-upper 70s with a low of the high 50s. Blankets and heaters will be provided in case of cold weather.

Food will be served family style. It is IMPERATIVE that you inform us of any dietary restrictions ESPECIALLY FOOD ALLERGIES

There will be an open bar with a selection of beer, red and white wines, and various liquor. We will also feature signature cocktails.

Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the country’s most visited national park. As such, every year over 10 million people from all around the world visit the park; mostly visiting in the autumn to enjoy the fall colors, hike in the cooler temperatures, and see the wildlife. Because of these, the areas surrounding the park make the majority of their money during this season so hotels are reluctant to block rooms

If you don’t RSVP, we will assumed that you decline and will not count you as coming, meaning you won’t be guaranteed dinner and may be asked to leave the reception
