Do you have a wedding registry?
Since this is a destination wedding, we did not sign up for a registry. We would love if you could bring a card with a nice note or funny story that you have of us!
What/how should I pack for the resort and weather?
Weather will be warm, averaging in the high 80s during the day and low 70s at night. We advise packing plenty of sunblock, bug spray and your favorite hangover cure remedies.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely up to you! Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a very kid friendly resort with a KidZ Club, where they can make new friends and join in on fun and supervised pool games like water volleyball or splash around in the mini waterpark. Other adventures include arts and crafts, video games and beach excursions.

Do you have a wedding weekend hashtag?
Yes! Please use #CassiesCupOfJoe and tag our wedding Instagram account @CassiesCupOfJoe for any wedding related photos.

It is totally up to you! We recommend staying at the resort at least four nights/five days. All wedding related activities and events will be Dec 8-9. We will be staying from Dec 7-16.
What if I can't attend?
We completely understand! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us. Please let us know individually or through RSVP.
Can I bring a plus one?
All single/solo attendees are welcome to bring ONE guest with them. We want you to enjoy our wedding as well as your vacation! We understand we are having a destination wedding and that you will be traveling. We want this to be fun for you too! If you have concerns or questions regarding this, please shoot a message to Cassie or Joe.
Should I bring money for tips?
Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so you are not obligated to tip the staff. However, we would recommend to bring at least $100 per person for tips. Typically tips are encouraged for the drivers (to from hotel/airport) and bartenders/wait staff.
Can I drink the water?
We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all time. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink.
Is there room service?
Yes. 24-hour, all-inclusive suite service is available, liquor service available from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
How do I get to the resort from the airport?
Once your flight is booked, provide the information to our travel fairy Debi so she can book your transportation to the resort.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
Hyatt Ziva Cancun is approximately 25 minutes from the airport. It may take longer with traffic.
Is it OK to take pictures during the wedding?
We would love for you to take photos during MOST events and share them using our hashtag #CassiesCupOfJoe. However, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will have professional pictures and videos taken for us. When we get the pictures and video back, we will be more than happy to share them with all of you!
Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. The reception will be on a covered terrace. It is common for this area to get quite windy, so we would recommend that ladies dress accordingly and consider pulling their hair back.
